1. (C) Carbon: 0.15 or less.

2. (Si) silicon: less than or equal to 0.75.

3. (Mn) Manganese: 5, 5 to 7, 50.

4. (Cr) Chromium: 16, 0 to 18, 0.

5. (N) nitrogen is less than or equal to 0.25.

6. (P) Phosphorus is less than or equal to 0.060.

7. (S) Sulfur is less than or equal to 0.030.

8. (Ni) Nickel: 3.5% to 5.5%.

9. (Cu) Copper: 0.8% of half copper.

10. High copper: 1.5 percent. Physical Properties:
Tensile Strength: 100,000 to 180,000 psi
Yield Strength: 50,000 to 150,000 psi
Elongation :55 to 60%
Elastic Modulus: 29,000,000 psi

Q:How are steel strips made?

A:Strip steels are manufactured by hot rolling to thicknesses not less than 2 mm, and then finally cold rolled to the required final thickness. Since cold forming (e.g. by deep drawing, stretch forming or bending) is a widely used application for low-carbon strip steels, a final recrystallization anneal is applied.
